Residential Multifamily Construction Manager Needed in Irving, TX ( Near HWY 183 and HWY 161 PFBT Toll)
Compensation $75k per year plus closing bonus package

Minimum 6 years’ experience in residential multifamily construction
We are looking for a reliable Construction Manager to plan construction projects and oversee their progress along the way in a timely and cost-effective manner.
You will be responsible for safety of all parties involved, government agency permitting, budgeting, organization, implementation, walking and scheduling of the construction projects.
Responsibilities
Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion
Work with Sales team for spec & sign offs
Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverable and estimate costs / Budgets
Work with Buyers to make sure they are updated weekly on progress of construction
Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
Ways to increase productivity
Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors
Work & ask questions from others if not sure to control additional construction costs
Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory
Meet contractual conditions of performance
Review the work progress on daily basis by communicating with subs
Communicate with purchasing team on missing Purchase orders
Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status
Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses
Analyze, manage and mitigate risks
Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
Evaluate jobs and determine if material or labor can be adjusted to save costs
Requirements
Proven working experience in residential construction management
Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods
Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
Understanding of all facets of the construction process
Familiarity with construction management software packages
Ability to meet deadlines
Maintain and update schedules
Takes initiate to perform the best job possible
Ability to plan and see the “big picture”
Competent in conflict and crisis management
Leadership and human resources management skills
Excellent time and project management skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks

BS degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field
