Our company culture has resulted in our employees tending to have very long careers with the company We are seeking a full-:me construc:on superintendent for an upcoming project located in Sacramento. The posi:on will have the support of an experienced team in the Sun Country office, and will work with a project manager located either in San Diego or in Sacramento. Sun Country works hard to cul:vate a culture of employee self-management. Depending on the skill set offered by a candidate, the posi:on will have the poten:al of increasing responsibility. The successful candidate will be well-organized and well-presented, with excellent organiza:onal and management skills and the ability to work well with the en:re group of people involved in a mul:-family development project, including the project owner, subcontractors, municipal representa:ves, on-site staff, and so on. Qualifica$ons: • A minimum of five years of experience in mul:-family construc:on or a related field. • Proficient with construc:on management and scheduling soNware, including MicrosoN Project, Excel and Word. • Team player, professional, respecQul and courteous, and able to manage others while building a team atmosphere. • Strong organiza:onal skills. • Detail-oriented. • Cri:cal thinker, problem solver. • CommiBed to mee:ng milestones and deadlines. • Strong plan interpreta:on skills. • Excellent interpersonal communica:on skills, both verbal and wriBen. • Ability to follow both wriBen and verbal direc:on. • Commitment to delivering high-quality customer service. • Valid drivers’ license and a dependable vehicle along with proof of automobile liability insurance. • US work authoriza:on will be required. Responsibili$es: • Coordinate, oversee and schedule all aspects of construc:on, from planning to implementa:on to comple:on. • Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors • Work smoothly and effec:vely with clients, architects, engineers, subs, city and county officials, and so on. • Ensure that the requirements of the project plans are met. • Maintain high standards of workmanship. • Lead and manage the on-site construc:on team. • Maintain comprehensive project records including daily field reports, field orders and RFIs • Ensure quality standards are met. • Coordinate weekly onsite safety mee:ngs, and ensure company and industry safety standards are enforced on-site at all :mes. • Hold weekly on-site scheduling mee:ngs with trades
