The firm offers investment management pre-development, underwriting, marketing and asset management services as well as construction, financial and administrative services. PRIMARY FUNCTION Responsible for coordinating and supervising the completion of construction by subcontract and punch carpenters for final inspection. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Minimum of 3 years in multifamily new-construction and 2+ projects worth of superintendent capacity responsibility. • Schedule and oversee the completion of all finish trade work, i.e. drywall, finish carpentry, paint, MEP trim, etc., and the installation of doors, cabinets, flooring, appliances, etc. • Prepare punch lists and ensure that each item on list is completed satisfactorily prior to inspection. • Assess the status of construction to determine the order in which to complete the project. • Prepare minutes of safety/production meeting as assigned by supervisor. • Order the necessary parts and replacement parts to prepare units for final inspection. • Supervise punch carpenters & maintain supplies. • Schedule final inspections with City. • Coordinate final clean of apartment units prior to turnover. • Walk with property management for acceptance and turnover. • Comply with company safety policies. NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Lock up and close down the job site. • Sign in new building materials. • Assist in the resolution of on-site subcontractor issues. • It must be understood that these are minimal duties and other duties will be assigned by the supervisor. EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in construction or related field is preferred
