Commercial Construction Senior Project manager who has the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This position will be responsible for complete management of commercial construction office including providing day-to-day project management and estimating for a group of commercial construction projects and commercial multi-family properties. The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate some or all the following attributes: College Education required. Construction management, architecture, business degrees preferred, but not required. Candidate must have at least 10 years’ experience with 4 years field experience preferred Senior Project Manager will lead and manage all aspects of commercial project management, including but not limited to the following: Project accounting Project administration Project estimating Project procurement/buyout Project scheduling Candidate must possess a can-do attitude with a strong work ethic and drive Candidate must be entrepreneurial minded that has the ability to think outside the traditional way of completing tasks Must be able to prioritize and create daily, weekly, and long-term goals Candidate must have good computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel. Proficiency with PlanGrid, Blue Beam, and Timberline/Sage is preferred but not required Candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills Candidate must be resourceful and detail oriented with good analytical skills. Must be able to develop and cultivate relationships with all vendors and contractors Must act as a team member with all employees of the department, and the company. Must maintain customer service attitude and be able to remain calm in emergency situations. Accounting Management: Code Time Sheets and Assist Payroll Processing Code and Submit all Invoices to Accounting Review, Assist in Processing, and Reject/Approve Invoices Track any and all types of costs Create Prioritized Weekly Payment Schedule for Suppliers and Contractors Create Project Invoices 2. Estimating: Coordinate all pricing in coordination with Existing Site Conditions, Design, and Owner Selections Create detailed request for pricing (RFP) invitations to subcontractors and suppliers Perform all material quantity takeoffs Create comparative analysis of estimates 3. Project Management: Write all Scopes of Work (including Design Build) for Subcontracts Create Supplemental Exhibits as needed to Subcontracts Assist in Packaging Subcontracts and Purchase Orders with Accounting Review, Coordinate, and Approve all Submittals and Shop Drawings Execute all material purchases Coordinate and Manage all Logistics for International & Domestic Direct Purchases Keep Project Drawings up to Date with revision and issue dates (Plan Grid) Create and Update Submittal & Procurement Log Review all Submittals and Shop Drawings Log and record approvals Create Scopes of work for all Change Orders Change Order Pricing Develop Meeting Agenda/Meeting Minutes Create and Update P6 Schedules as needed Coordinate with Field Staff Manage Project Accountant and Assistant Project Manager 4. Field Management: Daily Coordination with Superintendents/Subcontractors Daily Follow Up with Field Issues Coordinate with Existing Site Conditions Job Type: Full-time Experience: Construction Management: 4 years (Preferred) Project Management: 6 years (Required)
