Job Description - Project Manager with TI/ground up exp in California TI/Ground-Up Project Manager A leading Design/Build Commercial General Contractor is looking for a Project Manager with 5-8 years of experience for their office. Preferred candidates will have strong experience with commerical/retail projects. Local candidates with experience with a local GC are preferred. This firm has a great opportunity to grow within the firm. Experience with estimating will be helpful as this division continues to grow. Responsibilities of the Project Manager Work with Superintendents on developing and implementing project procedures, CPM Master schedules, and standards for building. Review the work for conformance with the specifications, acceptable levels of quality, safety, and schedule. Own the project and determine the method of construction, material requirements and equipment. Experience with estimating is preferred. Determine the staff needed to maintain the schedule and provide a high quality of work on the project. Mentor and develop team members. Coordinate, plan, and supervise team members. Manage and maintain a strong client relationship Supervise all phases of the work performed by the Company and its subcontractors. Requirements of the Project Manager Solid work history, with long term employment history. Candidates that have moved around a lot won’t be a fit for this client. Candidates must have experience in industrial, distribution, retail, religious, institutional or municipal projects . Civil, residential or TI/remodel experience won’t be a fit for this opening. Experience with Microsoft Office and Primavera. Commercial project experience with projects 20M+ with the ability to run fast paced projects successfully. Must have the ability to direct and have strong leadership skills in order to direct multiple fast paced projects.
