Senior Project Engineer with Commercial experience needed in Seattle, WA

Our Senior Project Engineers apply their construction experience and knowledge to assist their project team with the planning, management, and administration of their project(s). A Day in the life of our Senior Project Engineers: Use strong working knowledge to manage multiple scopes of work - both subcontracted and self-performed – with a high degree of autonomy and leadership. Supply on-the-job training, mentoring, and supervision to Project Engineer(s), Field Coordinator(s) and Engineer Intern(s) assigned to the same project. Demonstrate the principles of the Corporate Safety Program at all times and assist the project team in ensuring project safety is managed effectively, proactively and consistently. Process, and review submittal information to ensure validity, conformance, and adherence to project plans, schedule & sequence. Anticipate, review, and coordinate the flow of project information and documents with project partners. Perform QA/QC inspections and assist in the implementation of the QA/QC process. Create, collect and organize LEED Documentation as well as assist with implementation of Indoor Air Quality, and Waste Management programs. Lead and participate in assigned elements of project closeout. A Senior Project Engineer preparing for a role in field supervision may be other more field focused responsibilities such as: Assist with site logistic planning, updating the schedule, assisting in setting up for concrete pours. Position Requirements Our ideal candidate is someone who builds relationships quickly, is resourceful and collaborative in their problem solving, and is always focused and committed to the team’s successful completion of the project. A bachelor’s degree (construction related preferred) and 4 + years construction management related experience (commercial preferred). OR an equivalent combination of experience and education. Demonstrated analytical skills and problem solving capabilities. Effective at building collaborative relationships. Proficiency with MS Office. LEED Green Associate or LEED AP and OSHA 10 certifications (preferred).
