PROJECT ARCHITECT ~ AVIATION

 

 

Hiring company in search of a dynamic individual who will work on a variety of challenging aviation full life-cycle projects, provide leadership to staff, deliver packages, and ensure client satisfaction.

 

Qualified Candidates:

 

·         Should be familiar with coordinating project deliverables and clients and exhibit strong organizational, conceptual design, and communication skills.

·         Should have a professional degree in Architecture - along with professional registration.

·         Should have 5-10 years of experience

·         Should have Revit and AutoCAD proficiency.

·         Have Aviation experience/experience managing large teams on large-scale projects.

Job Purpose

Completes architectural projects by planning, organizing, implementing, and monitoring design and execution requirements; supervising construction; guiding team members.

Duties

* Plans architectural project objectives by interviewing clients; conducting feasibility and environmental impact studies; evaluating site selection; specifying design requirements, including physical, functional, and aesthetic qualities; identifying issues; identifying and evaluating options; choosing a course of action.

* Maintains project team accomplishments by communicating essential information; coordinating actions; reviewing open issues and action items; contributing information to team meetings and reports; guiding team members.

* Completes projects by developing concepts; developing sketches; building models; preparing drawings of the structural system; air-conditioning, heating, and ventilating systems; electrical systems; plumbing; and landscaping; developing and monitoring schedules and timetables; obtaining approvals; making adjustments.

* Meets financial requirements by estimating costs; developing budgets; monitoring expenses.

* Supervises construction by obtaining and filing required documents; soliciting and evaluating bids; selecting contractors; negotiating contracts; ensuring adherence to design, schedule, specified materials, and quality work standards; solving design/construction problems.

* Meets legal requirements by following building codes, zoning laws, fire regulations, and related ordinances, such as, access by disabled persons.

* Provides project reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.

* Updates job knowledge by maintaining licensure; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

* Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
